As a subsidiary of Bank Kerjasama Rakyat Malaysia (BKRM), a development financial institution, Rakyat Management Services Sdn Bhd (RMS) is not exempted from complying with BKRM’s governance policies and corporate culture, as set out in the Policy Document on Corporate Governance for Development Financial Institutions issued by the Central Bank of Malaysia on 14 February 2024.

No Gift Policy

SERVICE POLICY - CODE OF BUSINESS CONDUCT & ETHICS
As a subsidiary of BKRM, we practise a high standard of ethics and professionalism. Our code of business conduct is founded on several principles in providing customer service to protect customers’ assets and conducting a business with full responsibility.
The core ethical principles of RMS reflect those of BKRM, namely:
- (a) Integrity: We view risks seriously and handle them prudently; we act with high integrity, energy and spirit.
- (b) Workforce: We care for one another and work as a team by inculcating the “RAKYAT culture”.
- (c) Customers: We prioritise our customers in our business and never cease to fulfil their expectations.
- (d) Members: We continuously endeavour to excel and improve our ways.
- (e) Community: We are active in the community we serve to generate economic, social and educational values.
NO GIFT POLICY
At RMS too, we are committed to conducting business with integrity, fairness and transparency. As part of this commitment, we practise the No Gift Policy to avoid conflicts of interest and to maintain the trust of all parties. This policy is applicable to all stakeholders including suppliers, vendors or any parties carrying out business with RMS.
