Rakyat Management Services Sdn Bhd (RMS)
Rakyat Management Services Sdn Bhd (RMS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bank Rakyat that was established on 17 November 1975. It has developed significantly following its reactivation in mid-2006. RMS then operated under the Companies Act 2016 through the mandate of Bank Rakyat to expand franchise business to co-operatives under the brand of Ar-Rahnu X’Change (ARX).
RMS has grown not only as the main player in the Islamic pawnbroking industry but also in the gold industry. Apart from managing 83 ARX franchises all over the country, RMS has widened its scope of business by involving in the gold trade and retail operations under the brand RMS Gold. With vast expertise in gold, RMS also offers consultation services encompassing audit, compliance and training.
The strategic growth of RMS reflects its commitment to excellence and is in line with the vision of Bank Rakyat to develop the co-operative business in Malaysia.
